A new gravestone was erected in May to commemorate Fanny Eaton as part of the Windrush celebrations. She was from Jamaica and sat for many of the Pre-Raphaelite painters.

This year the green environment has been dominated by the weather with a long drought end of May into June. The 13 trees we planted need constant watering as well as previous years’ plantings. The new trees add a mixture of native and non-natives. The central round bed has kept the Friends gardening group busy as part of its contribution. We entered a new category this year for London-in Bloom, to look at biodiversity of which we are proud as, through our activities, we promote a diverse environment and carry out regular surveys.

Three of our listed buildings are awaiting repairs.
