We eventually came to the end of the most serious drought for half a century. Combined with very high temperatures the trees have suffered. The grass turned gold. The Friends have kept all our new plantings well watered so hopefully, all should survive.
Green Flag was retained and we are awaiting results of London in Bloom. Our next event is Kids Club August 19th 2pm.
Spring 2018
Spring comes in fits and starts but blossom has beautified the cherry trees and birds will be feeding their young. Winding mown paths through the grass are a pleasure to walk through. This is one of the most lovely seasons in the cemetery.
